An ordinary week

The whole point is that giving stops requiring a decision. You set it up once, and it keeps showing up when you don't.
Connect your bank, read-only
You connect through Plaid, the same service used by major banking apps. BeaTris reads transaction amounts to compute roundups and nothing else. The connection cannot move money, and your banking password never touches us.
Your purchases round up
A $4.30 coffee becomes $5.00, and $0.70 is set aside. The difference accumulates quietly in the background until it reaches the threshold you chose: $5, or higher if you prefer.
The gift settles
We email you at least a day before any charge, with the exact amount and time to pause or adjust. Then the gift goes to your organization, and you see the story of what it joined.
Every dollar you donate reaches the organization.
BeaTris takes no percentage of any donation. Not a platform cut, not a rounding remainder. When a gift settles, the full amount transfers to the organization's own account, and the payment processor's fee comes out of our side rather than yours.
Consider what a percentage actually costs. A congregation of 200 people, each giving $8 a month, gives about $19,200 in a year. On a platform taking 5%, $960 of that never arrives. That is roughly a year of a small food pantry's budget, spent on the privilege of being generous.
We are funded instead by an optional tip (shown plainly, adjustable any time, never buried) and by a flat software fee organizations pay. Never a share of what you give. A model that takes a slice of charity is a model we would have to explain away, so we didn't build one.
Your community sees that you showed up, never how much.
Generosity curdles the moment it becomes a leaderboard. So BeaTris was built without one.
Community feeds carry participation only: streaks, months, the fact that a gift happened. Dollar amounts appear in exactly one place: your own private screen.
Your name appears only if you ask it to. Everyone starts anonymous, shown only as “someone gave,” and you can stay that way for good.
Built like the financial product it is.
You are being asked to connect a bank account to a name you met recently. These are the specific reasons that is safe, stated plainly enough to check.
Your bank password never reaches us
You sign in through Plaid, the connection service behind Venmo, Robinhood, and Chime. If you have ever linked a bank to one of those, you have already used it. Your credentials go to your bank, never to BeaTris.
The bank connection is stored scrambled
The key that lets us read your transactions is encrypted with AES-256, the standard banks and governments use. It lives only on our servers, never on your phone, and unlinking deletes it for good.
Notice before every charge
An email at least 24 hours ahead, with the exact amount, and time to pause, skip, or adjust before any money moves.
Multi-factor authentication
Required before a bank can be linked. Every member's records are isolated at the database level.
Delete everything, from inside the app
One control removes your account, unlinks your bank at Plaid, and erases your history. No email, no waiting period.
Nothing is sold, ever
No advertising, no data brokers, no tracking SDKs. We collect what the service needs to run and stop there.

BeaTris is looking for a small number of partners to launch with: places where giving is already part of the culture, and where a steadier, smaller, more frequent kind of generosity would matter.
We are beginning with congregations, because that is where communal giving is most established and the trust is already built. The mechanics are not specific to them. Anywhere people give alongside people they know, the same thing works: schools and alumni networks, neighborhood associations, any cause with a community behind it.
Partners pay a flat software fee, never a percentage of donations. Setup takes about five minutes and we do it with you, on a call.
